Songshutang is 73 kilometers south of Hami City, Xinjiang. Songshutang is now the site of Yiwu army horse farm. The Yellow buttock red deer raised in the farm is of great economic value and tourism value. In recent years, the State Sports Commission has built alpine skiing and skating rinks on the northwest side of songshutang by taking advantage of its superior ice and snow climate resources and ideal slope conditions. Pine pond in winter has become a paradise for ice and snow athletes.
