Seven Star thousand Buddha Caves in Yanqi

The Seven Star thousand Buddha Caves and Buddhist temple sites in Yanqi are also known as "Yanqi Mingwu", which means a thousand houses. It is located in seven star townships in Xicheng, Yanqi Hui Autonomous County.

It is a Buddhist cultural site of the Tang Dynasty. The Buddhist temple is divided into two temples, North and south, with a large scale. There are thousand Buddha Caves (Grottoes) near the Buddhist temple. The Buddhist temple has been destroyed and only remains. There are still murals in the thousand Buddha cave.
