Dalong Bay

Dalongwan is a crater lake, one of the members of Jilin Longwan group. It is located in the middle part of Longgang mountains of Changbai Mountain system, Jinchuan Town, Huinan County, Jilin Province. The geographical coordinates of the center point are 126 ° 24 ‰ E and 42 ° 20 ‰ n. Among the eight Longwan groups in Jilin Province, Dalong Bay has the largest water surface area of 81 hectares, 625 meters above sea level, 200 square kilometers of catchment area, 97 meters of maximum water depth and 16.167 million cubic meters of water storage.

The bottom material of the lake is sand and stone, and the lake water is drinkable. The lake is frozen in late November and opened in early April next year. Dalong Bay's four seasons scenery and animal and plant resources are similar to those of Delong Bay, but its natural landscape has some peculiarities: first, there is a peninsula in the south bank water area, and there is a "water forest" around the peninsula. Most of the tree species are Betula platyphylla, on which reeds grow. Over the years, it forms a huge meadow, which is 5-7 meters thick Rice, with the arbor growth conditions, on which the reeds grow, so the name "Luhua island". The "aquatic forest" is about 150 meters long and 70 meters wide. According to the research, its cause is that the trees growing on a large amount of humus deposited around Luhua island have formed a forest, and the water depth is up to 20 or 30 meters. Tourists walk on the plank road above, passing between birch and reed. With the fluctuation of the meadow, it is like riding a boat on the water. Second, there are many basalt caves around Dalong Bay. The largest cave on the north bank is 15 meters deep, 20 meters wide and about 2 meters high. Some Taoists practiced here in the early years.

Leaning on the mountain

There are Daoguan "Longtan Palace" and "Sanqing Pavilion" in the cave, which are still popular today. Thirdly, a green ecological corridor is built between Dalongwan and sanjiaolongwan along the Xiangshui River between green mountains and green valleys. The ecological corridor has 2800m trestle road with wooden bridge, cable bridge, stone path and pavilions. The water below the plank road is murmuring and crystal clear. Volcanic rocks can be seen everywhere at the foot of the mountain beside the plank road. There are mountains and forests on both sides of the plank road. The sound of birds is loud and refreshing. Fourth, at the end of the ecological corridor, there is a DIAOSHUIHU waterfall not far from the southeast of Dalong Bay. Xiangshui river flows through the steep ridge of lava landform, and the river falls, forming two cascades. The first waterfall is 12 meters wide, with a drop of 2 meters The second-class waterfall is 8 meters wide and 15 meters wide, with a drop of 5 meters. There is a karst cave stone gate beside it. The water spouts beads and splashes jade, and there is a loud sound. Fifth, there are 21 "volcanic wells" in a gully near the waterfall. The wellhead is round and protrudes from the surface. The diameter is no more than 1 meter, and the depth is between 2 meters and 3 meters. There is a lot of charcoal underground, and the reason remains to be studied.
