The first folk village in Tibet

The first folk custom village in Tibet is located in the public village of Bayi Town, Linzhi County, next to national highway 318, 1.5km away from Bayi Town, 2900m above sea level, covering an area of 40 mu. It started business in December 2006, and now it has become a multi-functional Tibetan cultural and folk village integrating special Tibetan food, leisure, entertainment and experience. In July 2013, with the introduction of Linzhi county government, Guangdong Provincial Tourism Group, Guangdong CTS, reorganized and controlled the first Tibetan folk custom village, striving to build this project into the first brand of Tibetan cultural tourism in Linzhi.

Characteristics of Folk Village

The first village of Tibetan folk custom is located on the mountain. Walking along the mountain, it is natural. All kinds of Tibetan buildings are inlaid on the mountain, making people feel the most primitive style of the mountain village. The scenic spot runs through the mountain path, with folk performing arts hall, Luoba folk houses, Gongbu folk houses and handicraft workshops in turn. The scenic spot also has the famous scenic spot "thousand year walnut king", as well as "Zanba fragrance", "ancient god Buddha", "mani auspicious" and other cultural scenic spots. The scenic spot provides tourists with special Tibetan food and Guangdong cuisine. Roasted Tibetan Pig, roasted whole sheep, Zanba, butter tea, highland barley wine, matsutake soup, Hongyun roasted Tibetan suckling pig, sweet and sour spareribs, and a variety of special Guangdong snacks.

The scenic spot has strong reception capacity, and can receive 600 people for dinner at the same time. It has three group restaurants, one large group restaurant (Performing Arts Hall), eight small private rooms, two VIP private rooms, eight tents and one large bar. The multi-function hall can accommodate 180 people to attend meetings, business performances or dinners, and provide professional audio equipment and reception personnel. The square of the scenic spot can accommodate 600 people to participate in the activities and provide professional art performance teams.

management model

In July 2013, Guangdong CTS took the lead in putting forward an innovative tourism aid model of "introducing villagers' equity participation to make common development and prosperity". With the government of Linzhi county and the Tibetans in the public village, it jointly reorganized the project company of the first folk village in Tibet. The Tibetans' shareholders contributed by land and participated in the investment dividend. In order to protect the basic income of the villagers' shareholders, Guangdong CTS actively led the project company and paid the villagers' shareholders the minimum guaranteed income for 40 years at one time. And designated the Tibetan people in the public village as the suppliers of catering raw materials in the folk village, so that the majority of Tibetan compatriots can share the company's operating results, and make the villagers become the owners of the scenic spots, publicity ambassadors and business beneficiaries.

Important reception activities

The first folk custom village in Tibet has won the honors of national AAA tourist attraction, cultural industry demonstration base of Tibet Autonomous Region, leading enterprise of agricultural and animal husbandry industrialization management in Linzhi Prefecture of Tibet, school local joint teaching practice base, employment practice base of college graduates in Linzhi Prefecture, and advanced collective of absorbing College graduates in 2011. In 2007, the first eco Cultural Tourism Festival of Gongbu customs in Linzhi county was successfully held. In 2009, the first rural cultural and Art Festival of Linzhi county was successfully held. In 2010, CCTV passion square column held the activity of "everyone sings patriotic songs" here.

In late July 2013, just over half a month after Guangdong CTS took over the operation of the folk village, it successfully received nearly 100 people from the national news media and top 100 travel agencies jointly organized by the National Tourism Administration and the government of Tibet Autonomous Region to visit Tibet, as well as representatives from the National Conference on religious aid to Tibet and Xinjiang, etc., which rapidly improved the brand effect.

On August 9, 2013, Yu Dawa, vice chairman of Jiang Jie and director of the Tourism Administration of Tibet Autonomous Region, and his party visited the folk custom village. They spoke highly of the cooking technology of combining the scenic spot environment with Tibetan and Cantonese cuisine, especially the innovative tourism aid mode of "introducing villagers' equity participation and tourism to promote common development and prosperity" of Guangdong CTS.

On August 14, 2013, Ding ye, executive vice chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region, accompanied by Zhao Shijun, Secretary of Linzhi Prefecture Party committee, and Wang Dui, executive Commissioner, inspected the first village of Tibetan folk customs. He affirmed the future planning and development of the project and expressed his message that China Travel Service Guangdong has built the project into a "first village of Tibetan folk customs" worthy of the name.
