Gongzhucuo
Gongzhucuo, the first plateau lake in the Ali Region, is located in Tibet via the southern route of Ali. The lake is 4786 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of only 0-2 degrees Celsius. The scenery is excellent.
Gongzhucuo is located in Pulan County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, in the eastern part of Pulan County, in the fault basin between Himalayas and Gangdise mountains. The lake is 4786 meters above sea level and covers an area of 66.2 square kilometers. The average annual temperature is 0-2 ℃ and the average annual precipitation is 200-300 mm. The lake water is mainly supplied by surface runoff. National Highway 219 passes through the North Bank of the lake.
