Collection

The exhibition in the museum includes "Ruichang historical relics exhibition", "Tongling Copper mine site exhibition" and "love my hometown, build Ruichang picture exhibition". Over the past few years, the museum has held temporary exhibitions such as Kong Fansen's deeds and pictures exhibition, Han Dynasty jade clothing exhibition and China's marine rare creatures exhibition. It has greatly increased people's social science knowledge and enriched cultural life. At the same time, it has also made the audience receive the education of historical materialism and patriotism.

The exhibition of historical relics in Ruichang displays all kinds of cultural relics unearthed from the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty in Ruichang area, reflecting the economic and cultural outlook of ancient Ruichang and the level of productivity development through a large number of physical materials. Most of the exhibits on display are selected from the collection of the museum, such as the spring and autumn bronze pot shaped tripod, the Tang Dynasty celadon bowl, the bronze tower top cover box, and the bronze statue They are: Yibing Xingdeng, shuizao Lianwen Haiping in Cizhou kiln of ningdai Dynasty, Qixing twelve palace immortal Chengcha realm, basibawen mirror of Yuan Dynasty, etc.

The exhibition of Tongling Copper Mine Site reproduces the bronze mining and smelting techniques in Ruichang area 3000 years ago. This paper introduces the discovery, excavation and scientific research achievements of Tongling Copper mine site. Most of the cultural relics on display are first discovered in domestic archaeology, which has great archaeological and scientific research value. Tongling Copper mine site is a large-scale copper mine site with the earliest, complete preservation and rich connotation in domestic archaeological discoveries. It is 3365 years ago. A large number of cultural relics and relics provide valuable information for exploring the origin of Chinese bronze culture, the history of ancient Chinese civilization and the history of metallurgy. The site was named as one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in 1991. In 1995, the State Administration of cultural relics designated it as a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level. Now it has applied for the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Development history

Founded in 1984, Ruichang museum is not only a comprehensive museum, but also a unique museum, ranking among the best in the province. It was named Ruichang patriotism education base in 1997. At present, the museum has more than 3000 cultural relics, some of which belong to the first and second class national cultural relics, including stone, pottery, porcelain, copper, wood and so on. Porcelain is a large collection of the museum. The types include Yue Kiln, Changsha kiln, Hongzhou kiln, Jingdezhen kiln, Cizhou kiln, Jizhou kiln, Jianyao kiln, Baishe kiln, etc.
