Nanguanfang Hutong
Nanguanfang hutong is located in Shichahai Area of Beijing. It was called "nanguanfu Hutong" in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. It was renamed "nanguanfangkou" in Xuantong period. It was not changed to its current name until 1965. Shichahai has "Guanfang" Hutong named in the East, South, north, West and middle, and its name comes from "Guanjia house". In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the imperial court built beams and columns in Shichahai and built a large number of official houses. After the completion of the houses, it mainly solved the living problems of officials from other provinces after they came to Beijing.

Characteristics of Hutong
The hutong is one of the longest in all the hutongs I investigated. The buildings on both sides are typical bureaucratic houses in feudal China. The space is relatively monotonous, and the characteristics are reflected in the typicality of the buildings.
