Xianrenyan is 11 kilometers away from Lixi Town, Dongbao District, Jingmen City, Hubei Province. It is surrounded by mountains, different peaks and clouds all year round.

From the hillside, the whole ancient building area is 3 square kilometers. This is the most perfect tourist attraction in central and South China. According to historical records, before Guan Yu, the great general of Shu, defeated Mai Cheng in the Three Kingdoms period, he and Ding Feng, the great general of the eastern Wu Dynasty, gathered here at the mountain stronghold built by Guan Ping, the son of Guan Yu.

There are stone carvings of Guan Shengdi, three characters of "Xianrenyan" and a couplet of "high mountain and long water" written by jurenmajiansuo in Ming Dynasty, stone forest in Taihu Lake, Tiandong, Didong, Xuanmu, battery and ancient bell, and 99 stone house sites. Many stone tablets and inscriptions are well preserved. When Yao xueyin, the author of Li Zicheng, visited here to collect wind, he praised the historical sites for their good preservation
