Houhougou is located 13 kilometers south of Longli County in the hinterland of Central Guizhou, with a total area of more than 200 square kilometers. It has unique mountains, beautiful waters, clear springs and beautiful caves.

Houhougou is divided into two areas: the grassland at the top of the mountain and the canyon at the bottom of the mountain. It integrates the strange mountains, beautiful waters, luxuriant forests, strange caves, waterfalls and grassland. It has not only the lofty and magnificent plateau scenery, but also the boundless grassland scenery of northern China, as well as a wide range of karst caves.

With flat terrain and clear skyline, the grassland is the second platform of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, with an altitude of 1500-1700m. The total area of grassland is more than 90000 mu, which is composed of more than 10 lawns, including 9 lawns of more than 1000 mu, and the largest liangshanping area is 12000 mu. In addition to ten thousand mu grassland, the grassland is primitive grass vegetation, and there are hundreds of mu of white Rhododendron and other precious varieties. On malangping, you can see the sea of clouds and the sunrise; on the top of Baiquan mountain, you can see the lights in Guiyang. Galloping on the grassland, you can enjoy the grassland scenery on the plateau.

Biodistribution

The gorge at the foot of the mountain is distributed between lawns. Because there are many wild macaques and the peaks on the mountain are shaped like monkeys, it is called monkey valley. The total area is 36 square kilometers, including guoweng, baohechong, paper mill, ghost cave and other canyons. There are more than 500 species of woody plants in the canyon, with a coverage rate of 100%. Except for some primary forests, most of them are secondary forests. There are dozens of wild animals, including macaques, linzhangs, sucui, Shuiche and foggy, which constitute a variety of landscapes with beautiful and mysterious scenery.

Houhougou is 13 kilometers away from Longli County, with convenient transportation, 30 kilometers away from Guiyang city and 24 kilometers away from Longdongbao airport. Hunan Guizhou and Guizhou Guangxi electrified railways, 321 national highway and guigaogao highway pass through the county.
