In the Youth Lake Park, we have invested in the construction of a population culture park, which includes theme sculpture, iron art publicity fence, public welfare light box and other visual art works.

There are four theme sculptures in the sculpture park, which represent harmony, wisdom, health and beauty, vividly showing the harmony between people and between people and nature. The hundreds of meters long iron fence of population culture in the park interprets the connotation of people's all-round development through plastic arts, and exerts a subtle educational effect with silent language.

At the venue, Peng Jianhua, deputy director of Beijing population and Family Planning Commission, and Zhang Dongmei, deputy director of Dongcheng District government, jointly unveiled the population culture sculpture park. According to the plan of Beijing population and Family Planning Commission, a population culture sculpture park will be built in 18 districts and counties of Beijing by the end of 2009.
