Dengtaijia scenic spot is located in the south of Wugang City. The main peak of dengtaijia scenic spot is named for its resemblance to ancient Dengtai. It is 20 kilometers away from the urban area and covers an area of 3333 hectares. It is one of the main scenic spots of Shimantan National Forest Park. The main peak is 808 meters above sea level, which is the second highest peak in Wugang City.

In February 2020, in order to express gratitude and respect to medical workers, all medical workers in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) can enter the park free of charge with valid certificates from the resumption of operation of dengtaijia scenic spot to December 31, 2020.

Located 16 kilometers southeast of Yangzhuang Township, Wugang City, the national AAAA grade scenic spot is the core scenic spot of Shimantan National Forest Park, covering an area of 56 square kilometers. It is named because the main peak is similar to the ancient lamp stand and there are magic lamps on it.

The geological landform of the scenic spot is peculiar, and the mountain body is very rare shale, quartz sandstone and basalt. On display are the stratigraphic relics of countless violent orogenic movements in the past 1.28 billion years, such as primitive seafloor, ripple stone, cracked stone, immortal foot and more than 100 karst cave stone sheds, showing the history of the earth from ocean to land. There are more than 600 species of plants in the scenic area, and more than 30 species are protected by the state. It is known as "forest oxygen bar", "plant kingdom" and "Museum of ancient marine geographical relics".

In the scenic area, there are 111 natural landscapes, 35 historic sites, and many rare and endangered plants, such as Pterocarpus tatarinowii, Celtis pumila, calligona angustifolia, Piper nigrum, tianrijiangzi, Eucommia ulmoides Oliv, Fritillaria, etc. you can also enjoy the forest oxygen bar and natural air-conditioning bath. It is said that a long time ago, there was a magic lamp on the top of the lampstand, which was shining all over the world. However, on the night of August 23 of any year, it would emit a strange blue light. Where the blue light shone, there would be a five Dou sesame official. In ancient China, the system of "Shiyi" was adopted when the rulers rewarded the meritorious officials, which was to reward the people and land in this area to you. For example, "reward 300 households" was to let these 300 households support you. In the Tang Dynasty, there were nine ranks: the first was the king, who ate ten thousand households in the city, and the second was the Hei Wang and the Jun Wang, who ate five thousand households in the city. Then, five Dou sesame is the salary of the people who can enjoy five Dou sesame. There are several sesame seeds in a Jin. I haven't counted them. It's said that there are many. If any tourist is interested, you can count them after you go back, 50 Jin for each bucket and 250 Jin for each bucket. It won't take long to count them.
