Shangxi Village

Shangxi village is located in pingmen Township in the north of Chun'an County, 25 kilometers away from Qiandao Lake scenic spot, 150 kilometers from Huangshan to hang Hui Expressway in the west, and 160 kilometers from Hangzhou to provincial highway 05 in the south.

A brief introduction to village history

Shangxi village scenic spot is located in pingmen Township in the north of Chun'an County, 25 km away from Qiandao Lake scenic spot, 150 km from Huangshan to hang Hui Expressway in the west, and 160 km from Hangzhou to provincial highway 05 in the south.

Shangxi village scenic spot, also known as jiuluojie scenic spot, has nine waterfalls with different shapes, which are named after the roaring sound. Jiumaojie scenic spot is located in pingmen Township, 68 kilometers away from Qiandao Lake

The whole scenic area is surrounded by mountains and water, with natural ecology. It is divided into three tourist areas: Shiyuan Canyon, Shangxi ancient style and Gancao Bay waterfall group. In addition to the colorful jiukou waterfall, which is rare in the south of the Yangtze River, the geological landscape with clear sequence of mountains and rocks is also very peculiar. Shangxi village is the descendant of Wang Xizhi, with rich traditional culture and Cultural Revolution relics. It is an ideal place for leisure and sightseeing, adventure, outdoor activities and summer vacation. The scenic spots for tourists to enjoy are: Yingke waterfall, longyaqiao, yexiangpaoshu, swing bridge, Sandi waterfall, Liyu Island, Longmen waterfall, Sijiao Longtan, overhanging plank road, Yafeng Pavilion, stone dragon back, giant stone barrier and stone statues.

Shiyuan gorge: through Hulu Bay, along the trail to Yingke waterfall, up to shilongbei, Shiyuan Gorge Scenic Area. The main Canyon section is about two kilometers long, with swing bridge as the boundary, it is divided into two sections: "lishiyuan" and "waishiyuan".

Shangxi ancient style: Shangxi village, also known as Xicun, lives on the mountains, so it is called Shangxi. With a population of nearly 300, most of them are Wang. It is said that they are descendants of Wang Xizhi, who lived here to avoid war and have been reproducing up to now. In the village, there are Wang's ancestral hall, e-script stele, etc. Due to the traffic barrier, Shangxi village has had little communication with the outside of the village for generations, and relatively weak radiation from the commodity economy. There are still many traces of natural economy, traditional culture and cultural revolution. The folk customs are simple and the scenery of the village is beautiful. Every spring, the old trees are green and the peaches and plums are fragrant; when you enter the village, you can hear the crowing of chickens and see the green smoke on the roof, which can give you a new experience of "paradise".

Liquorice Bay waterfall group: liquorice Bay is a large valley in the west corner of Shangxi village. The valley is more than ten li long, with rich vegetation and abundant water resources. There are often ups and downs at the fault on both sides of the valley, and the water flow in the pit forms a waterfall.

There are eight waterfalls in Gancao Bay, five of which are only 300 meters apart, and have been organized into the tourist areas currently developed. They are: first line waterfall, Longhou waterfall, xiaohuangguoshu waterfall, couple waterfall and Longding waterfall. These waterfalls are different in shape and wonderful. In addition to the waterfalls in this scenic spot, there are immortal faces, natural stone gates, longpanshi, xiaoshibapan, overpass, Yuanmingyuan relic stone beams, daochashijian, Gaoshan fish pond, etc. for tourists to watch.

The huge group of waterfalls is a major characteristic landscape of Shangxi village. Streams and waterfalls run through the whole Shangxi village. In the 1.5 km Green Canyon of Shangxi village, there are nine waterfalls of different sizes. Shuanglong waterfall, Longmen waterfall, Longxu waterfall, Longtan waterfall, Yixian waterfall, throat waterfall... One after another along the stream. There are more than 2000 negative ions per cubic centimeter, which are ten times higher than the general scenic spots. It is a good place for leisure, vacation, rehabilitation and recuperation.

Zhang's ancestral hall

The ancestral hall of Zhang family in Shangxi village of Houlong town is composed of a wall, a gate, a Dacheng and a ancestral hall. It is a single entrance, three Bay, hard mountain roof, brick and stone walls, beams, columns and brackets in the ancestral hall. It is elegant and beautiful. The whole building is simple and magnificent, spacious and bright. The ancestral hall was built in the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1582). It was repaired by Zhang biana and others in the 21st year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1682). In 1994, it was donated by Zhang Shichuan and others from Taiwan for renovation. Couplet: "it's not easy to send Yanqing River as a branch. It's originated from Puyi. It's always new." "The appearance of the temple is based on the order of Jianyuan Zhaomu and the East and the West. After a long period of service, the temple is expected to return to Fulu Changxiao, the son of Yishi." "I cherish the fragrance, and I hope to uphold my loyalty and filial piety. Like a mountain, my beauty should bring forth people who have accumulated virtue and kindness." "The spring is not old for thousands of years, and the Qinghe River is new for thousands of years."
