The main landscape of Xiannv pool is the huge color pool and the small side stone dam on both sides. It is one of the scenic spots in Jiuzhaigou.

From liantai Yingcai in Jiuzhaigou down through the virgin forest of about one kilometer, three huge color pools appear continuously at an altitude of 3030 meters. Each color pool covers an area of more than ten mu, occupying almost the whole valley bottom. The upper color pool is called "Dahu Lake", the middle one is called "lvhaizi", and the lower one is called "Dahaizi". The three are collectively referred to as "fairy pool". Beside the fairy pond, there are groups of small-scale edge rock dams, which are bright in color, mostly white and light yellow. Among them, the travertine medicine around the roots and trunks, some like agate, some like coral, some like pearl, has pure texture and exquisite shape, just like a natural work of art.
