Baishan Qingquan Temple
Baishan, a unique mountain in Northeast China, is located in guzhangzi Township, northeast of Jianchang. It has many peaks and evergreen pines and cypresses, with 500000 cypresses among thousands of trees. It is the place with the most cypresses in Northeast China.
The famous Qingquan temple is located in this mountain. It has a long history and is simple and elegant in the 24th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. It has three Tianwang halls, five Sanskrit halls, nine monasteries, a 400 square meter Sutra building and two Buddhist temples There are four bell and drum towers, two pairs of stone lions with white marble, a 3.3-meter-high white marble thousand Buddha pagoda, a six ton open-air Avalokitesvara, more than 40 large and small wooden and clay Buddha statues.
