Xitou village is located in the northeast of Liangkou Town, Conghua District, Guangzhou City, which belongs to Liangkou Town, Conghua District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Xitou village is one of the three sources of Liuxi River with outstanding people, beautiful scenery and friendly hospitality.

On December 31, 2019, it will be included in the second batch of National Forest Village list.

When you step into the mouth of Xitou Valley, you will see a hill. On the hill, there are luxuriant forests, green bamboos, twining vines, and green. There is a ravine in the middle. A silvery white waterfall flows up from the ravine and falls down into a deep pool with rippling blue waves. The pool water is clear, pure and clean, green and blue, with waves, flowing water and cool air.

Surrounded by green hills, scattered rocks and surrounded by wild flowers, the pool is an ideal place to visit the stream head in the hot summer. Next to the village, there is Xiyuan villa with complete facilities for eating, living and playing. There is a bus from Conghua bus station.

Xitou village is known as "the most beautiful village in Guangdong Province". It is also known as "longevity village" and "beauty village". Here, you can breathe the clean air from nature, drink the natural sweet spring water, and produce fruits. From March to April, green plum is produced. The wine brewed with it has strong fruit flavor and can relieve summer heat. It is deeply loved by tourists.

Sanhua Plum is produced from June to July. The skin of Sanhua Plum is crisp, the flesh is crisp, the juice is juicy and the fruit is big. It is the best Sanhua Plum in Guangdong, so it is also called "Sanhua Plum Village". Persimmons are produced from September to October. The persimmons here are very sweet and seedless. Most villagers use them to make persimmons. Shatangju is produced from December to January. The Shatangju here is sweet and delicious. Guests can pick it by themselves. It is fresh and delicious.

Guifeng fermented tofu

Also known as Lutian tofu

According to legend, there were several eminent monks who traveled all over the world. When they passed by Lvtian, the local villagers were rich in soybeans and tofu. The eminent monks praised: "there are countless soybeans and tofu, which are not as good as Guifeng everywhere." After careful investigation, the eminent monk found that the local people grind tofu very strange, which is inherently tender and smooth. Later, Guifeng water flowed out of the Lutian River, and the villages around Lutian market learned how to grind tofu, so Guifeng tofu developed into Lutian tofu.

Liuxi fish head

On September 12, 1961, Guo Moruo visited Liuxihe Reservoir (also known as liuxihu). He improvised some good poems. The reservoir fishing team sent a boat to the center of the lake to net several big head fish more than 70 meters deep. The canteen was made of Conghua's special fragrant red onion.

Guo Moruo repeatedly raised chopsticks, praised: "delicious! Delicious Liuxi River water pure, rippling, lakes and mountains, fish is particularly delicious, big fish head is the best.

There are many negative ions in the mountain, and even the coriander is different. Since then, Liuxi fish head has become a new famous dish in Conghua after liberation.

Stream source and valley

It's the source of water. It's about 10 minutes' walk. There's a natural pool. You can swim here when it's hot. The water is cool and clean. It's a good place to relieve summer heat.

Yellow tea garden

It is the third highest mountain in Guangzhou, with an altitude of 1135 meters. Visitors who like to climb mountains can choose it. It may take about 4 hours to go back and forth. From the end of March to April every year, azalea blossoms on the mountain are in full bloom, but the United States does not harvest.

reservoir

The fog rises in the morning of winter, which is a fairyland in the world. Customers who like fishing can fish leisurely here. In addition, during the Spring Festival every year, ten thousand mu of plum blossom is in full bloom here. It's a vast expanse of white everywhere. It's like snow. It's beautiful.

The local plum blossom time is from March to April every year, and the local Sanhua Plum Festival is from June 5 to July 10. Sanhua Plum, which is rich in Xitou, tastes good. In addition to Sanhua Plum, there are also fresh Bayberry and Taiwan sweet peach.

Travel route

If you are a donkey, or you want to experience the taste of a donkey, here is a famous and historic crossing route: yinggu line (from Yingcun in Liangkou town to Gutian village in Lutian Town, crossing 9 villages, passing Xitou village, the whole journey is 25 kilometers). It is said that it was a road taken by Japan when it invaded China, and it is full of pastoral scenery along the way, There are bamboo forests, streams and beautiful scenery.

If you really want to take this road, you can sign up online to join an outdoor club or charter a car to get off at Liangkou Zhenying Village (the intersection next to Bishuiwan) and cross to our village to have a rest. The next day, you can cross from our village to Gutian village. In a word, it is a holy land for ecotourism and leisure. Those who like nature will linger.
