Wujindang scenic spot

Wujindang scenic spot is located in the north of Xinghua City, with convenient transportation and superior natural environment. It is a wetland ecological protection area integrating leisure and entertainment, water tourism, agricultural tourism, ecological regulation and cultural tourism. Wujindang has about 3.2 square kilometers of water surface and surrounding wetland landform, and the enclosed space area is about 8.36 square kilometers. There are one wujindang Park, a provincial second-class garden unit, and one shangshangsi temple, a provincial cultural relic protection unit.

Overview of scenic spots

Wujindang is a lake in the north of Xinghua City. It is said that when Yue Fei resisted Jin, he shot down the black scarf of Jin Wushu. This is the prototype of Liangshanpo in Shi Naian's works. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Shi Naian returned to his hometown. Facing the magnificent scenery of wujindang, he once wrote a poem: "in the past, people went to Taohuayuan, but now we go to reed marsh. The blue sky, white clouds and green waves are the hometown among the green trees.

In the late Qing Dynasty, the west gate, north gate and East Gate of Xinghua City were surrounded by wujindang. After the 1960s, wujindang was gradually filled up, the city expanded, and the water surface retreated, leaving only the main water area in the north. Since the 1990s, the local government has planned to build wujindang scenic spot.

Riverside leisure landscape area: build a landscape corridor along the lake with leisure, viewing, sports and fitness;

Ecological restoration and cultivation area: Village reserve area, bird watching area, forest area, flower and fruit area, wetland area;

Water tourism and leisure area: Gate area, flower area, flower forest area, water rural area, fishing area, camping area, forest area, dike landscape zone;
