Tongzhou Island: also known as "datongzhou", it is located in Xintong Township, Fuyang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total area of 4 square kilometers and a river bank line of about 8 kilometers. It is said that it was the medicine saint of the Yellow Emperor. Tongjun, named after the old man who planted herbs on the island, is one of the oldest Jiangzhu on the Fuchun River. It is also the first sand island that Fuchun River encountered when it entered Fuyang. Datongzhou is surrounded by clear water, green hills, trees on the island, willows on the coast. It retains the original pastoral scenery, which is a rare place for people to return to nature. What is more worth mentioning is that in the spring rain of datongzhou, the clouds rise, showing a trace of green in the void, like an emerald inlaid in the Fuchun River. As a result, datongzhou has the reputation of "Yanyu TongZhou".

Activities on the island

On TongZhou Island, there is also a professional folk kayaking club in mainland China - the coastline kayaking club.

"TongZhou island is a section of the river. Except for the plum rain season, the current is relatively gentle. Adults and children can canoe here." Dong Liushui, the person in charge of the base, said.

Besides sports, Tongzhou island is also a good place for barbecue. In the southwest of the island, sunjiazui has a quiet poplar forest, shallow river water and small crabs crawling on the beach. If you think it's troublesome to bring a stove, you can also go to the kayak base. There are ready-made grills and so on. The charge is not expensive.

The activities of Xintong's "Spring Festival" include: traditional folk show "war horse" treading spring; "dragon" touring the flower sea, bicycling in the flower fields head to tail: "rushing out of Tongzhou island" parent-child activities, interesting five passes; "a corner of Fuchun Mountain Residence" beautiful Xintong Photography Competition; agricultural products exhibition, barbecue camping, bonfire party, canoeing experience, forest reality CS, etc.

To TongZhou Island, turn national highway 320 from Zhijiang road to Fuyang in the urban area, turn national highway 320 to Shoujiang Town, transfer the line outside, cross Guanshan tunnel, and turn right to Dongwu bridge (without crossing the bridge). There are many farmhouses on the island.

With the superior natural environment, the headquarters of the coastal kayaking club is located on TongZhou island. The existing office buildings, warehouses, docks and other basic facilities, as well as 200 mu of original ecological poplar forest are used as the leisure area for kayaking activities. Tongzhou Island kayaking base is the first member club of American Canoe Association (ACA) in Asia. All coaches in the base have received ACA professional training and assessment, and have ACA kayaking exploration coach certificate.

Since its opening in April 2011, the base has not only provided kayaking skills training and rowing training services for club members, but also provided a better leisure resort for Hangzhou, Shanghai and other tourists, and experienced a new, low-carbon leisure travel and vacation mode -- kayaking exploration travel. Under the leadership of the rowing leader, the experimenter starts a short water trip to get close to the Fuchun River, and truly experience the picturesque landscape of Fuchun mountain by Huang Gongwang, a great painter of the Yuan Dynasty 600 years ago.

The Xintong section of Fuchun River is about 10 kilometers long, known as "Shili TongZhou". Tongzhou Island, a small island in the middle of the river, is an island without flood control dike. It has a total area of 4 square kilometers and a river bank line of about 8 kilometers.

Scenery

Tongzhou Island, the second largest natural island of Fuchun River, has a gentle slope of green hills on one side, a warm spring river on the other side, and a large area of rape flowers in the middle. As soon as the national highway 320 is transferred to the territory of Xintong, Fuyang, the flavor of "ten li Tongzhou, nine Li flowers, willows on both sides of a river of spring water" comes.

Walking on the island, the river is open, the mountains and rivers are overlapping, the rape flowers everywhere form a strong contrast with the quiet river and mountains in the distance, and the saturated color hits the eyes, which makes people feel the vitality of spring.

Riding on TongZhou Island, the two sides are a piece of skimmed gold, fragrant flowers and grass, making people relaxed and happy.

If you are skilled enough, you can also find another way to walk through the Italian poplar forest on the west side of the island. This is a forest covered with all kinds of weeds, and the purple and red wild flowers are blooming just right. Don't be afraid to get lost, because you can see villagers picking wild vegetables or tourists having a picnic everywhere.

It's said that the old man Tongjun, the medicine saint of the Yellow Emperor period, was named after planting herbs on the island. It is one of the oldest Jiangzhu on the Fuchun River.
