Qingyun Temple

Qingyun temple, located in Liandu District, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, covers an area of more than 40 mu. In 2011, Qingyun temple was rated as "harmonious Temple" at the municipal level. Because of the white fog gushing out from the mountain, the clouds and fog are connected to cover the Castle Peak, so it is called Qingyun temple.

Qingyun temple is also known as Qingyun Temple because Abbot Miao de inherited the Baiyun system (taibaiding) of Linji sect.

Brief introduction to temples

Qingyun temple is located at the foot of Baiyun Mountain in the north of Liandu District, Lishui City. The temple, formerly known as Niangniang hall in Huajie, is an ancient temple in the Northern Song Dynasty. After the liberation, it was destroyed in 1953, the main temple was demolished, and the wood was taken to build "Wuli Pavilion". There are two local houseless households who have borrowed and lived in the wing room for three or five years, and moved out in 1962. Later, it collapsed due to disrepair.

Prosperous period

In the golden age, all kinds of wastes are flourishing. In 1994, more than 30 local cultural inheritors took the lead in collecting funds for reconstruction. There are three temples and four wing rooms.

In the main temple of Qingyun temple, there are 27 statues of Buddha, such as Sakyamuni, Guanyin and 18 Arhats. In the center of the left hall, there is the goddess of Huajie, commonly known as he Baozhi. In the right head, there are three empresses, namely Faqing, Fatong and left head. In the middle, there are 10 statues of fourteen ladies and empresses. There is a camphor tree in front of the temple, 320 years old, which proves the history of the temple. The first main hall of Qingyun temple, the hall of pharmacists (Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas), is in the back mountain of Niangniang Temple.

Monk miaoder led the monks of this temple to chop mountains and fill with earth, shovel by shovel, brick by brick, stone by wood. They were not afraid of hardship and did it by themselves. From 1998 to 2001, it covers an area of 864 square meters. The back hall of pharmacist hall is a three room Guanyin hall with 7000 Jin white jade Buddha statues.

The scale

In 2002, it was presided over by the abbot of baiyun temple and Xianyin temple in Xinyang, Henan Province. Two representatives from Shaolin Temple and about 10000 people attended the ceremony. From March 7, 2003 to December 2006, a new main hall was built in front of the pharmacist hall, with a construction area of 884 square meters. Inside the hall are statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Nanhai Guanyin and the unfinished 500 Arhats. In 2007, master Xing Yi, 102 year old abbot of baiyun temple, master Yin FA and master Miao De of Zhejiang Buddhist Association opened the ceremony together. Layout structure

From 2001 to 2009, dozens of classical halls including pharmacist hall, Mahatma hall, Maitreya hall, Tianwang hall, Shengsheng hall, Guanyin hall, dizang hall, Yanshou hall, Western Sansheng hall, Hakka hall, Qianshou Guanyin hall, nianfo hall, Zhaitang hall and hundreds of squatters were built. The main buildings of the temple are the brackets, cornices, carved beams and painted buildings. The scale is large and the palace is magnificent. It's a good place for people to worship men and women and for city people to have leisure and travel.
