Linping Park

Linping Park

Linping park is located in Linping mountain, Yuhang District, Hangzhou city. It is an important tourist attraction in Linping. The park has three gates, South, East and North, among which the south gate is the most lively. There are amusement parks, zoos, many small ponds, teahouses, bridges, waterfalls, large grasslands, paths, pavilions, statues and many buildings in the park. You can go in and out at will. There is an endless stream of visitors every day.

Main attractions

There is a main road in Linping park from the top of the mountain to the east gate of the park. It passes through Donglai Pavilion, monument to revolutionary martyrs and other famous scenic spots. There are a large number of woods around, as well as a viewing platform, you can see the whole Linping

Amusement Park

The amusement park of Linping park is located at the foot of Linping mountain. It is the place with the most people and has more amusement projects. In 2011, some old projects were removed or repaired, and new projects were added. There are (some of them used to be): small train, pulley, pirate ship, high-altitude bicycle (originally pedal, now automatic), inflatable castle, surprise Fortress (inside is for children to play, there are sea ball, swing, rope pipe, pinball, hanging slide, etc.) frog jump, viewing car (Ferris wheel), carousel, games of the brave（ A turntable), bumper car, Mermaid (turntable, people sitting in a moving cup, big turntable), zoo, etc. Note: the amusement park can go in and out at will, you need to buy tickets to play the project.

Donglai Pavilion

Donglai Pavilion, built in 2004, is one of the landmark buildings in Yuhang District.

There are nine floors, with transparent elevators and steps. Standing on the ninth floor, you can have a panoramic view of Yuhang.

There are many small pavilions around. In front of Donglai Pavilion, there is also a jade shaped statue (representing the Liangzhu culture of Yuhang). On the statue are carved the heads of Dayu, Shen Kuo, Wu Changshuo and Zhang Taiyan. Donglaige is also one of the popular scenic spots in Linping park.

Monument to revolutionary martyrs

On the hillside of Linping mountain, there is a small square. In the center of the square is a monument. On the stele are engraved the words "revolutionary martyrs are immortal". Every Qingming Festival, people will come to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs.

The north gate of Linping park is opposite to Hehua Road, south of Yuhang senior high school; the east gate is opposite to Yucai Experimental Primary School of Yuhang District; the south gate is close to Xinxing kindergarten, and to the West are Yuhang science and Technology Museum and Youth Palace (one museum and four centers).

Five entrances and exits: the west gate next to the Party school, the main gate next to Xinxing kindergarten, the east gate opposite Yucai primary school, the north gate of hehuatang, and the newly opened gate opposite experimental middle school

Bus routes

Hangzhou k763 bus to the "Linping Park" station, direct access to the south gate; k338 bus to the "Jingshan intersection" station, is the science and Technology Museum.
