Houbihu fishing port

Houbihu fishing harbor is the first specialized fishing area in Taiwan. It can accommodate 350 fishing boats of less than 500 tons. From April to July every year, it catches umbrella swordfish, flying fish and ghost knife. From October to March next year, it catches white skin swordfish and black skin swordfish.

At present, there are 25 "recreational fishing boats" in the fishing port. Visitors can enjoy the ocean scenery, experience the fishing experience of rod fishing, one line fishing and line fishing, and visit the fishing operations along the coast, such as box net breeding, fixed net fishing, fishing with fishnets, oyster breeding, etc.
