Yunmengshan National Forest Park is located in the west of Miyun city. Yunmeng Mountain, formerly known as Yunmeng Mountain, is a famous natural scenic spot in the suburbs of Beijing. history

On the cliff 1000 meters east of lianhuatan in Yunmengshan National Forest Park, the office of Fengning Luanping Miyun three County United Government during the Anti Japanese war. Local people call it "leopard cave".

Around 1941, Yunmeng Mountain area became the base of the Eighth Route Army in the Anti Japanese war. The local villagers contributed to the Anti Japanese War regardless of themselves. The tenth infantry regiment of Jin Cha Ji of the Eighth Route Army launched the Anti Japanese war with the local people in Yunmeng Mountain area.

In the spring of 1941, more than 4000 Japanese and puppet troops carried out comb type raids in Yunmengshan area for more than ten days in an attempt to destroy Pingbei Anti Japanese base at one stroke. At that time, the party and government organs of fengluanmei lived in Leopard cave. During the raids, the enemy almost approached the cave entrance. In order not to expose the target, a female comrade covered her one-year-old child's mouth with her clothes. Dozens of comrades' lives in the cave were saved, but the child was suffocated Death. The Japanese puppet campaign ended in failure, and Yunmeng Mountain, as an anti Japanese base in Pingbei, once again withstood the test. The base area was as impregnable as steel until the final victory of the Anti Japanese war.

Yunmengshan National Forest Park is located in Miyun District, northeast suburb of Beijing, 81 km away from Beijing and 35 km away from huaifeng highway, with a total area of 2208 hectares and an open area of 920 hectares.

Geology and geomorphology

Yunmeng Mountain scenic area covers a total area of 2208 hectares, the main peak is 1414 meters above sea level, and the mountain is mainly composed of volcanic rocks. Within the territory of towering mountains, deep valley cutting.

The gneissic structure at the edge of the granite in Yunmeng Mountain is very similar to the layered sedimentary rock in the distance. In fact, it is due to the gneissic texture formed by the ductile deformation and the associated amphibolite facies retrograde metamorphism of the granite, and the mylonitization zone surrounding the batholith. At the same time, the occurrence of these foliations and lineations is consistent with that of the surrounding rock, indicating that the foliations and lineations of the batholith and the surrounding rock are formed in the same genetic mechanism. For example, in the eastern diorite, the orientation of recrystallized quartz shows extensional lineation, and the dikes develop window lattice structure and sheath fold. All of these indicate that the wall rock underwent obvious ductile shear deformation during the emplacement of Yunmengshan granite batholith.

The temperature of Yunmeng Mountain is generally 6-7 ℃ lower than that of the plain area under the mountain, and the negative ions in the upper air are 6-12 times higher than that of the city. However, the temperature of Yunmeng Mountain in summer is between 20-24 ℃, and the highest temperature is about 28 ℃.

The garden is rich in landscape resources and dense forest. Rhododendron YINGSHANHONG, a wild shrub flower of Rhododendron family, is widely distributed from the entrance to the main peak. There are many kinds of animals and plants, such as larch in the high-rise, YINGSHANHONG and wild lily in the mountains, 711 kinds of green plants, with a vegetation coverage rate of 91%, including 26.7 million square meters of natural forest, hundreds of trees such as pine and cypress, antelope, roe deer, deer, pheasant, stone chicken, pelican, magpie, mountain sparrow and so on.

The park is mainly primary secondary forest, the forest coverage rate of more than 91%. There are oak forest, birch forest, larch forest and Pinus tabulaeformis forest in different landforms. Among them, there are 26.7 million square meters of natural forest, and there are hundreds of trees such as pine and cypress.

Air condition

The climate is cool and pleasant, the content of negative oxygen ions in the air is very high, and the vegetation coverage rate in the mountains is more than 90%. In July, the hottest month in Yunmeng Mountain, the average temperature is 20 ℃, lower than the summer resort. The air humidity and ventilation condition are superior.

Historical Site

Patriotic cave, Xiaoxitian, sunbin Temple

Patriotic cave is located on the cliff 1000 meters east of lianhuatan in Yunmeng Mountain National Forest Park. It is found that the office of the United Government of Fengning, Luanping and Miyun counties was located during the Anti Japanese war. The cave is 20 meters deep, 10 meters high and 8 meters wide. It is a natural cave formed on the granite wall. Due to the precipice and precipice around the cave, the trees around the cave entrance are dense, and the concealment is very good. There are many remains of the Anti Japanese war in and around the cave. Local people call it "leopard cave".

Chinese seal

"China seal" cliff stone carving is 96 meters high and 38 meters wide. It is engraved on the main peak of yunlongjian, Yunmeng Mountain, 968 meters above sea level.
