brief introduction
Mengzi customs, located in Nanhu, Mengzi County, Yunnan Province, is the first one in Yunnan Province. The existing buildings were built after the Mengzi switch trade in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, including the Mengzi customs and taxation department, the French Consulate, the garden, and the Gelusi foreign company. On May 25, 2006, as a cultural relic from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the former site of Mengzi Customs was approved by the State Council to be listed in the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
In November 2018, it was selected as the third batch of Chinese 20th century architectural heritage.
