Sansha port

Sansha is an important town in the coastal area of Fujian Province, which was included in the construction of the general plan of the people's Republic of China by Dr. Sun Yat Sen as early as the beginning of this century. She is close to Mindong Fishing Ground, one of the five largest fishing grounds in China. Sansha fishery company, Mindong Fishing Ground headquarters, Mindong ship supervision station and Sansha Taiwanese reception station are all located here. During the fishing season, fishing boats from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Taiwan and Fujian gather here. The mast wall is like a forest and the noise is like a tide. It is the distribution center of goods in the north and south of East Fujian and the window of opening to the outside world.

Sansha and Taiwan face each other across the sea. The people have the same language, blood and customs. Fishermen on both sides of the Strait often fish in the same fishing ground. In recent years, Taiwan compatriots have come to Sansha to take shelter from the wind and repair ships, and more and more people are doing business at sea, making Sansha an important port for Fujian's trade with Taiwan.

Guzhen port, located in the northeast corner of Sansha Town, is a famous deep-water port. The port is 800 meters wide and 2500 meters long. The harbor is calm and can berth ships of tens of thousands of tons. Now it has become a dock for large passenger ships from Shanghai to Fuzhou. Ships come and go, which makes Xiapu close to the north and south.
