West cave

The West cave, also known as "Xiangu cave", is one of the main scenic spots of nanyandang mountain. The grotesque peaks on the top of the cave are listed, and there are many trees. There is a huge stone at the entrance, which is 33 meters high, 50 meters wide and about 4 meters wide. It is engraved with the four characters "southeast barrier", which is called "stone skylight".

Main attractions

The West cave is dedicated to Zhu Xiangu. The magnificent ancient buildings are inlaid in the cave entrance. There are holes in the cave, which are connected with each other. Xiangu is named Chanyuan. She was a villager in the Southern Song Dynasty. She became a nun at the age of 16 and lived in this cave for 20 years. She used to collect medicine to cure people's diseases. After that, she disappeared. People built a Taoist temple at the entrance of the cave to commemorate her. The cave is 18 meters high, 44 meters wide and 29 meters deep. It has seven three story pavilions, most of which are connected with the cave. The third floor of the inner cave is the front section, and the forehead is called "Da Luo Bao Dian". There is Zhu's fairy sitting in it, holding a feather fan in her hand, strong and quiet. There are small square pool accumulation waterfall beads, green water Yingying, clear and sweet. There are 18 Jinshi cave and Lianhuan cave in the cave. Dishuiyan drips water all the year round and does not dry up in dry days. "Side moon" commonly known as toutian cave, 4 meters high, blue sky visible probe. Outside the cave, there are pearl spring, stone axe rock, Yuye pool, Yixin courtyard, Santai Taoist temple, Chaotian carp and other scenic spots. In front of Xidong, the twelve peaks are the most spectacular. From north to south, the peaks are heavy and emerald. Each of them is named by its shape: bat peak, Wenbi peak, jade girl peak, Laoren peak, Santai peak, Huixian peak, Meimei dressing peak, toad peak, etc.
