Located six kilometers to the north, Hongguang hospital, the first hospital of the Chinese Red Army, has been listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit and opened to the outside world.

At that time, Hongguang hospital had 32 rooms including outpatient room, operating room and sickbed, which could accommodate more than 200 patients. On October 1, 1929, Jinggangshan was once lost. More than 100 seriously injured patients did not have time to transfer, and all died. After liberation, the people of Jinggang built tombs of Red Army martyrs where they died.
