Mishan port

Mishan port is located at the mouth of Bailing River, the boundary river between China and Russia at the northwest end of Xingkai Lake, 38 kilometers away from Mishan City and 2 kilometers away from Russian tulilog port. The gate adopts the architectural style of archaize Great Wall with plane layout and North-South symmetry. The majestic port country, Bailing River Bridge, the world's smallest national boundary bridge and port highway bridge, which are included in the Guinness Book of world records, constitute a unique tourism landscape, attracting more than 2000 tourists from home and abroad every year.

The majestic port and Mishan port have an annual capacity of 500000 tons, 200 vehicle times per day and 400000 person times per year.

Scenery

There is a well-known bridge on the Bailing River at Mishan port. It is less than 1 meter wide and less than 7 meters long. This is the bailing bridge built by Jixi coal machinery plant in 1972. It is listed as "the smallest boundary river bridge in the world" by the Guinness Book of records. The small bridge on the boundary river was built by the border forces of China and the Soviet Union for the convenience of meeting at that time. On the Chinese side of the bridge is an iron bridge with guardrails, and on the other side is a stone bridge without guardrails. A gap of about 10 cm was broken at the junction of the two sides in the center of the bridge, that is, the national boundary.

history

Mishan port is a kind of land passenger and cargo port approved by the State Council in 1988. It began to open regularly in April 1992. Banbi Town, the Mishan port, and Kamen leibolov Town, the corresponding port of Russia, are the location of Xingkai District, the coastal border region of Russia, on the West Bank of Xingkai Lake. The boundary line under the jurisdiction of Mishan port is 265 kilometers long, including 235 kilometers of water boundary. Xingkai Lake is the boundary lake between China and Russia. In history, Mishan Banbi town was an important channel for Sino Russian non-governmental trade.

After the boundary bridge of Bailing River was opened at Mishan port, in 1861, under the pressure of Russia, the Qing government humiliated and signed the Treaty on the boundary between the two countries, recognizing Bailing River as the boundary between the two countries. In order to facilitate trade between the two sides, in 1991, China built a permanent highway boundary bridge, and the original boundary bridge was abandoned. The Chinese side erected railings at the bridge head, while the Russian side directly lifted the stone slab into the river. Anyway, there was no guardrail there. At this point, the Bailing River Bridge was broken and became a half bridge.
