Laomeiqingshan waterfall is located in the upper reaches of laomeixi, Shimen Township, Taipei County, at the north foot of the Datun mountain Volcanic Group, and belongs to Yangmingshan National Park. As the waterfall is not the main area of Yangmingshan National Park, it is managed by Shimen Township Office.

Introduction

Qingshan waterfall is about 400 meters above sea level with a drop of more than 50 meters. It is an inclined waterfall with abundant water and a large area of waterfall pool. Take zhucaotan as the starting point, and go south along the mountain like canal road. Along the road, there are trees, insects and birds, and fenduojing is charming and refreshing. When you get to Shiheng No.1 Bridge, you can see Laomei stream winding out from the shade of green trees. After the mountain road circling, you can see the source of chengquding channel. Qingshan Waterfall (15 meters high) rushes down from the mountain wall. There are two connected deep pools under the waterfall. The scenery is very beautiful. In autumn and winter, you can enjoy the Fenghong stream along the old Meixi trail, which makes you feel like coming to Qiufeng in the nanase stream of the Northeast Olympic Games in Japan.

In recent years, the township government office has opened up a green mountain trail (1.3 km in length) leading to the waterfall, which is full of tourists on holidays. There are many similar Canyon and waterfall terrain nearby. For those who like climbing, you can go there to have a look.
