Riverside Drive

Linyi Riverside Avenue is marked by riverside landscape greening and focused on Riverside ecological greening. It fully reflects the cultural characteristics and historical features of the area along the Yihe River, and creates the urban ecological landscape of "river flows in the city and city grows on the bank". Riverside Avenue is also called riverside road.

Phase I development

As a key construction project of Linyi Municipal government from 2004 to 2005, Binhe Avenue is in charge of the whole Bund landscape greening in phase I by the Landscape Department of the Municipal Construction Bureau.

The total greening length of Binhe Avenue is 12000 meters, and the greening area is about 400000 square meters. The estimated total investment is 30 million yuan, and the completed investment is 28 million yuan. More than 2 million trees and shrubs are planted, more than 2000 local tree species are introduced, more than 30 Jingshan are placed, and more than 1.2 million square meters of planting soil are backfilled.

As the landscape Avenue of Linyi, Binhe Avenue adheres to the modern urban landscape road with high starting point, high standard, high grade and landmark in the greening design goal. In the construction of the first phase of the Bund greening project, the waterfront landscape greening is taken as the symbol to comprehensively strengthen the urban function improvement and environmental construction. Focusing on the riverside ecological greening, the construction of ecological corridor fully reflects the cultural characteristics and historical features of the area along the Yihe River, forming an urban green space system with distinctive characteristics, reasonable distribution, plant diversity and beautiful landscape, creating an urban ecological landscape of "river flows in the city, city grows on the bank".

Binhe Avenue is also called Binhe Road.

Phase II Planning

The second phase landscape project of Binhe Avenue is a large-scale basic project in the overall planning of "taking the river as the axis and developing both sides" of Linyi Municipal government, which adheres to the sustainable development strategy and attaches great importance to the ecological environment construction. The project is located in the middle of Linyi City, on both sides of the Yihe River. The greening construction is carried out according to the width of 30-50m outside the beach. The construction of the beach adheres to the standard of National Wetland Park and mainly focuses on retaining the original landform.

The project is divided into 12 parks, which are divided into three functional areas according to their location. From north to south, they are: browsing activity area (Rose Garden, Qishi garden, colorful world, Hedong 6.3km beach greening project), wetland exhibition area (peach garden, willow garden, leisure park, bamboo garden, papaya garden), wetland protection area (chestnut garden, ginkgo garden, pomegranate garden).

The total length is 35206 meters, the total area is 7634400 square meters, and the total investment is 310 million yuan. After completion, it will become a main project integrating traffic, flood control and tourism in Linyi city.
