Wolongtan

Wolongtan, located in WoLonggang, Nanyang, is one of the most important scenic spots in WoLonggang.

Wolongtan is a place for Zhuge Liang to wash his body and feet, wash and enjoy the cool when he worked in Nanyang and WoLonggang.

Wolongtan is located in Wuhou Temple scenic area of Nanyang City, Henan Province

Wolong Lake is located on the North left side of the mountain gate, downstream of Xianrenqiao water. It is divided into upper and lower pools. It is said that it is a place where Zhuge Liang cultivated Longmu to wash his body, feet and cool. It was originally a natural water pool. There was a clear spring in the pool, which was like a dragon spitting water. The water gushed continuously in the four seasons. The spring water became the irrigation water source for Zhuge Liang's farming field, which ensured that the hermit was safe from food and clothing. In the hot summer, when Zhuge Liang worked, he often played the piano, met friends, learned from each other, and talked about the world's major events. Because of the frequent presence of Jiaolong in the pool, Liu Yuxi wrote in the inscription of humble chamber: "the mountain is not high, the immortal is famous, the water is not deep, the dragon is spirit". Zhuge Liang is also known as "Mr. Wolong", so this pool is known as "Wolong pool". In 1988, wolongtan shangtan was restored and expanded. There are Qiqu bridge and Yudai bridge connecting with the embankment, which seems to have profound meaning. Open water, rippling blue waves, sky reflected in the clouds. Around the pool, the flowers and trees are green and the weeping willows are green. Cobblestone path around the pool half a week, carved white marble railings inlaid shore, different shapes of stones piled up beside the water, fish play in the clear water between the rocks. Three dragon mouth spit water column, head up in the pool. In 1992, xiatan was restored, pavilions were built and Hongqiao was built, which reflected each other with shangtan and was opposite to the reading platform. Small bridges, flowing water, high hills and beautiful scenery constitute the highlight of the garden landscape of Wuhou Temple and become an excellent place for leisure and cool.
