Baihanluo Church

Baihanluo Church - baihanluo church is located in dimalo village, pengdang Township, Gongshan County. In 1898, French missionary Ren anshou built it. It is a wood structure building integrating Chinese and western, covering an area of 454 square meters. The door is a archway, with six lattice fans, arched windows on the second floor and bell tower on the third floor. In 1905, the local people held an anti foreign religion uprising and burned down the church, namely the "baihanluo religious case". The existing building was rebuilt by Ren anshou with the Qing government's compensation.

Although many cultural relics in the church were destroyed during the cultural revolution, the French wine making process spread to the people by French missionaries was preserved. Now, the "white Hanluo" wine and all kinds of "white Hanluo" wild fruit wine brewed by French wine making technology are the best wines for Gongshan.
