Baizhang waterfall

Baizhang waterfall is the largest natural waterfall in South China, which is composed of grade 1, 2 and 3 waterfalls. During the period of the Republic of China, Zou Lushu, President of Sun Yat sen University, and Su Dongpo's poem "a hundred Zhang flying waves leak through the sky" was engraved on the stone at the source of the waterfall. Since the 1960s, many Chinese and foreign celebrities have marveled and praised the magnificent momentum of the Tianhu waterfall, leaving many good stories: commander-in-chief Zhu De wrote "mountain dancing Silver Snake" in his own handwriting, which is still engraved on the cliff beside the waterfall Xinran wrote a poem: "baizhangdiesan waterfall, a stream playing Wanjia, spring flying cliff cover, water exciting stone flowers." Tianhu

Located at the top of the waterfall, Jiashan was built in 1972. It was one of the five water conservancy projects in Conghua County at that time. Because it was built on the high mountain of "a hundred Zhang flying waves leak through the sky", it was named "Tianhu", which means Lake in the sky. Tianhu lake covers an area of nearly 1 square kilometer, 7 kilometers in length, with a water storage capacity of 10.34 million cubic meters. There is a pavilion in the middle of the lake. There is a fairy pool under the dam. In the pool, there is a fairy statue carved by Guangzhou sculptor Tang Daxi. The fairy stepped on the lotus stand and gently lifted the gauze in one hand. It was lifelike and floated in the pool, intending to paddle in the water. Under the fairy pool is the famous hot spring waterfall. Tianhu lake is also equipped with a boat, people can take the boat, enjoy the scenery of the lake.
