Shazhang village is located in Kunlun Street, Liyang City, Jiangsu Province, with a small area and a radius of only about one kilometer. It's more than 700 years old. There is a rare large tomb group of ancient minority officials in China. The residents of this village are special because they have an extremely rare surname: 偰 (Xi è).

In January 2019, shazhang village was selected as the seventh batch of famous historical and cultural villages in China.

On June 6, 2019, it will be included in the list of the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages.

Introduction to scenic spots

A 700 year old village, a mysterious group of tombs, a rare surname, and a history of lamentation jointly formed shazhang village. There are more than 170 households and 600 people living in the village. But the vast majority of people still live in the old houses one hundred years ago. Choose a sunny afternoon, stroll in the mottled village houses, time is really in reverse. According to textual research, his ancestors came from the remote Uighur, and He Ci Pu Hua of the Yuan Dynasty has lived here for generations. Over the past 700 years, he has bred 32 generations of descendants, and formed a rare large tomb group of ancient minority officials in China. People with the surname of Luo live in many places at home and abroad. When the tomb of halapuhua was rebuilt in shazhang village in 1999, people from Yunnan, Anhui and even the family of Luo, who are far away in South Korea, came to shazhang village from all over the world to find their roots and ancestors. On September 4, 2002, an old Korean man with white temples rushed to Shachang village to worship his ancestors.
