Borogiron Grand Canyon

Bolojirong Grand Canyon is located at the junction of Tongpu Township and BOLUO Township in Jiangda County, about 25 kilometers away from the county. Duoqu river flows from the county to the East and flows into Jinsha River. On both sides of the Strait, there are majestic peaks, cliffs and canyons about 5 kilometers long.

In the Duoqu river of the gorge, there are four square stone dice used for playing chess for Gesar, the "Overpass" of zhum, stone Buddha statues and other landscapes. In the middle of the canyon, there is a cave which is difficult to climb up. Local people call it Gesar cave to subdue demons.

Bolojirong Grand Canyon is located at the junction of Tongpu Township and BOLUO Township in Jiangda County, Tibet, about 25 kilometers away from the county seat. Duoqu river flows from the county to the East and flows into Jinsha River. On both sides of the Strait, there are majestic peaks and cliffs. The highest point is about 100 meters, and the narrowest point is only 2.30 meters. The canyon is about 5 kilometers long. Driving in the valley, looking up at the sky, the sky line, towering peaks, different shapes, it is amazing. In the middle of the Duoqu River in the gorge, there are such landscapes as the square shaped giant dice used by Gesar to play chess, the "Overpass" of zhum, and the stone Buddha statues.

Cave of Gesar

In the middle of the canyon, there is a cave which is difficult to climb up. Local people call it Gesar's cave to subdue demons. It is said that a long time ago, there was a banshee in Jirong gorge who had harmed the common people. Gesar had done justice for the people, so there was a stone in the shape of a headless woman at the entrance. People say that's the Banshee Gesar executed. You can go down to the ancient temples such as wuerjiang temple and BOLUO temple here.

Boroguze, the hometown of woodcut, is also located in the lower reaches of the canyon.
