Buddhist temple
Foji temple is located in the west of Shikeng village, Beifeng, Fengze District. The sixth volume of Min Shu, records of Fangcheng, Quanzhou Prefecture, states: "the Buddha traces mountain, and the light appears in the night of Tang Guangqi. As Yan Bin's envoy sees it, there are giant traces in the stone mountain, because it is a famous mountain." "Quanzhou Fu Zhi" Volume 16 "Tan Miao Temple" contains: "the Buddha trace temple was built in Sandu in the second year of Tang Guangqi (886), so it is named after the giant trace of the temple. During the reign of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, monks were rebuilt at the beginning, and the Buddhist dharma circle was established in Yongle in the Ming Dynasty. "
Giant's trail is the reason why the temple was built and the treasure of the temple. It still exists in the fruit forest of Buddha's trail mountain. Giant trace is a natural stone, with a distinct five toe mark on the side and a proper heel depth, just like the giant's trace. The footprints are 48 cm long, 30 cm wide at the front end, 5 cm wide at the thumb and 2.5 cm wide at the little finger.
