Changqing Temple Pagoda

Changqing Temple Pagoda is located on the South Bank of Lianjiang River in the west of she County, Huangshan City. There are 10 temples here, and there is a tower beside Changqing temple, namely Changqing temple tower. Today, the temple destroyed the pagoda, also known as the ten pagodas. The tower was built in 1119 by Zhang Yingzhou, a native of Shexian county. It has a history of nearly 900 years.

The pagoda of Changqing temple has been repaired for generations. Pavilion style, solid square, 23.1 meters high, each side of the ground floor 5.28 meters, xumizuo five floors, waist height of 66 cm, there are inter column, corner column. The body of the tower is made of brick, the first layer is higher, and it is reduced from bottom to top. On the ground floor, there is a wooden corridor with stone eaves and columns 4.33 meters wide. There are coupons on all sides, with stone lotus petal Buddha seats inside. In the middle of the walls above the second floor, windows and coupons are hidden, square corner columns with half hidden and half exposed are built at each corner, and colorful patterns of Buddha statues are painted on the walls. Each layer of cornice is folded with bricks, and five layers of diagonal teeth are used between them. On the stacked brick is the waist eaves of wood structure, and is covered with tube plate tiles. Under the cornice wing angle, hangs the iron system wind chime.

Changqing pagoda is the only remaining building in the former xiganshan thirty-four other temples. After several dynasties of renovation, it still retains the characteristics of the Song Dynasty. Now it is listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit, and has been integrated into the restoration and reconstruction planning scope of "Taiping Xingguo Temple", becoming a local landmark.
