Qinlangzha holy mountain is one of the twenty-five Buddhist holy mountains in Kang district. Among the many practice caves in the mountain, lianhuasheng practice cave is the most famous. The cave is very long, with grotesque stone pillars, stone buds, natural Buddha statues, etc. Master lianhuasheng, a monk in India, studied with master Jihu in Nalanda temple and was famous for his supernatural powers. At the invitation of King Chisong Dezan of Tibet, he went to Tibet to promote Buddhism and subdued the black religion, which enabled the Tibetans to convert to orthodox Buddhism. He timely introduced some of the original Tibetan beliefs and traditions into Indian Buddhism, which is one of the great contributions to the establishment of Tibetan Buddhism. Sangye temple in Tibet is also related to him.
