CEN's ancient buildings

Located in nalao village, nalao Township, about 50 kilometers to the east of Xilin County, the ancient buildings of Cen family in Ming and Qing Dynasties are the former manor site of Cen MI, the governor of Shanglin in Ming Dynasty. They are also the descendants of Cen MI, including Cen Yuying, governor of Sichuan, governor of Yungui, governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, and the father and son of Cen Chunxuan, President of the fourth period of the Republic of China Home. In 1994, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

CEN's buildings are built according to the mountain. The ancient buildings such as Gongbao mansion, Nanyang Academy, Zengshou Pavilion and Cen's ancestral hall are distributed on the hillside of the village due to the terrain and architectural functions. Among them, cen's Tusi mansion is the only Ming Dynasty building preserved in our county.

CEN's building complex in Xilin is not only the largest, longest lasting, most influential and well preserved ancient building complex in the Zhuang nationality area of Western and Northwest Guangxi. Moreover, on the basis of retaining the national characteristics in villages, group layout and architectural forms, the advanced Han architectural culture is widely absorbed, which is the crystallization of the cultural exchange and integration between Zhuang and Han nationalities, and reflects the history of the great integration of the Chinese nation from the aspect of architectural culture. It is not only a symbol of history and culture in Western Guangxi, but also a shadow of Zhuang culture. In particular, cen Yuying and his son's patriotic and patriotic deeds in defending the border, consolidating the border defense and fighting against the aggressors are also important teaching materials for our patriotic education, national education and local education today.
