Development history
Fengshan is the highest point of Changdao County. Qi Jiguang, a famous Anti Japanese general in the Ming Dynasty, built a beacon tower in Shandong to prevent the invasion of Japanese pirates on the sea. Now visitors to the island are used to calling it Yingshan, because an eagle is carved on the top of the mountain. From afar, it is lifelike and ready to fly, symbolizing the take-off of Changdao in the era of reform.
In 1988, the state established a migratory bird protection center in Shanbei. In May 1988, Changdao was listed as a nature reserve by the State Council.
Exhibition hall
There is a bird Pavilion on the second peak of Fengshan mountain. A plaque with the title of "bird Pavilion in the air" is on the front of the door, which is the symbol of the bird Pavilion. More than 200 specimens of various birds on Long Island are displayed in the museum. In recent years, the museum has raised eagles, swans, etc., and more than 300 poisonous snakes for visitors to watch. With a total area of 300 mu, Fengshan park is a natural "station" for the North-South migration of China's migratory islands. Among them, there are more than 40 species of birds under the first and second level protection of the state, 227 species of birds under the protection agreement between China and Japan, and 156 species in Changdao.
