Heilongjiang Fujin National Wetland Park is a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is located 40 kilometers southwest of Fujin City, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, with a total area of 2200 hectares. There are eight scenic spots of "two pools, one Pavilion and five districts" in the park. It has been awarded the titles of "National Wildlife Protection Science Popularization Education Base" and "national ecological civilization education base". It is a characteristic eco-tourism scenic spot integrating tourism, leisure vacation and science popularization education.

Heilongjiang Fujin National Wetland Park is located 40 kilometers southwest of Fujin City, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, with a total area of 2200 hectares.

Resources

The overall planning area of Fujin National Wetland Park is 2200 hectares. It is a marsh type wetland, which breeds 290 species of herbs such as reeds and water lilies. There are 270 species of vertebrates living in the park, including 177 species of birds. There are 2 species of national first-class key protected wildlife and 22 species of national second-class key protected wildlife.

Main attractions

There are "one pool, two pavilions and five areas" in the Wetland Park, namely: "fishing pool", "viewing Pavilion", "lelan Pavilion", "cattail viewing area", "scallion viewing area", "water lily viewing area", "Reed viewing area" and "Lotus viewing area".

The park has a 2.6km wooden plank road around the scenic spot, which can visit the Typha viewing area, water lily viewing area, intuitive gull habitat, and four leisure pavilions at different positions of the wooden plank road, providing visitors with rest and entertainment space. There is a wetland park propaganda and Education Hall with a construction area of 2500 square meters, which is composed of overview hall, landscape hall, biodiversity hall and function and protection hall. There are 255 species and 580 pieces of animal specimens on display in the museum. Through the typical wetland restoration and the application of high-tech multimedia, it vividly shows the important ecosystem functions of Sanjiang Plain wetland, and also provides a rich source of knowledge for visitors to learn more about wetlands and related wetland knowledge.

Development and construction

Fujin National Wetland Park was built in 2008. It was approved as a National Wetland Park pilot in 2009, and passed the acceptance in 2013. It was officially approved as "National Wetland Park".

Fujin city is located in the eastern part of Jiamusi City as a transportation hub, with waterways, highways and railways extending in all directions. Tongsan and Jiafu high-grade highways pass through 153 km from east to west and meet the urban area. The park is 40 km away from Fujin City, 100 km away from Jiamusi City, and 15 km away from Jinshan toll station of hatong highway. The tourist traffic conditions are excellent. After arriving at Jiamusi by plane, the tourists transfer to the park by bus for one hour. It takes 40 minutes to drive to the park in Fujin city. It's only 15 minutes from Jinshan Town to the park. Tourists can also take the train from Harbin to Qianjin Town, get off at Fujin railway station, and then transfer to other means of transportation to the park. In order to facilitate tourists, Fujin city has opened a direct Park round-trip tourism line.
