Chian village is a village under the jurisdiction of Shexian County, Handan City, Hebei Province, with 870 households, 2806 people, 1600 mu of cultivated land and an annual per capita income of 2810 yuan.

Historical status

More than 110 party and government organs and units, including the government of the Shanxi Hebei Shandong Henan border region, the headquarters of the 129th division of the Eighth Route Army, North China Xinhua radio station, Xinhua Daily, have been stationed here for a long time. Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping successfully carried out a series of battles in Handan, such as Longhai and Dingtao. It has created favorable conditions for the field army to March South and liberate the whole of China. The North China finance and Economics Conference and the meeting of Liu Deng's army's expedition to the South were held here. It is also the birthplace of the people's daily and the printing place of the first volume of selected works of Mao Zedong.
