Wulidun Great Wall is located in Wuli, Southeast of Anbian Town, which is also called "wulidun" by the local people. Wulidun is a "huge" pier along the great wall of Ming Dynasty. It is said that this pier was built earlier than the Great Wall. The section of the Great Wall in Dingbian is basically plain, and there is basically no commanding height around it. Wulidun is so tall that its main function at that time was to serve as a lookout and alarm. Climbing up the top of the pier can observe the enemy situation in the distance.

In Ming Dynasty, five side walls were built around Dingbian as defense system: Chenghua wall, Hongzhi wall, Guyuan inner wall (xindabian), Zhengde wall and Jiajing wall. Wulidun is located in the Hongzhi wall built by governor Wen GUI during the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty. This side wall is built by Jingbian County from yangquangou in haotan Township, passing through liushujian, tangwa, maguanliang, anziwu, Anbian Town, zhuanjing Town, to caimachang in Dingbian Town, and overlaps with Chenghua wall. This side wall between Anbian and Dingbian is not only a defensive line, but also a main defense line to protect the ancient Yanma road at that time. The ancient Yanma road is on the inside of the Great Wall, close to the Great Wall.
