Gesar square is located in the center of Maqu County, at the foot of the West leaning mountain, with Gesar Shenma as the content. It was completed and put into use in August 2002.

Gesar square is located in the center of Maqu County, at the foot of the West leaning mountain, with Gesar Shenma as the content. It was completed and put into use in August 2002. There are the main sculpture platform, Gesar Shenma, national flag platform, Kowloon hall, eight totem pillars, sunken square and other buildings. The whole square covers an area of about 15000 square meters. It is composed of commercial building, cinema, cultural exhibition hall, entertainment center for the elderly, etc. it is a county wide cultural and commercial center integrating commerce, leisure and entertainment, shopping and cultural display. In the square, lawns, green trees and fresh flowers are closely related. The magic horse of the river is soaring and the Dragon carving is vivid. At night, the neon light is flashing. Walking along the square is dazzling. The steep mountains to the west make it a marvelous scene of rain falling and snow falling in the county. In the summer sun, snow and green grass are reflected, which makes people relaxed and happy.
