Taifeng Park

--The large-scale artificial landscape park built on the former saline beach, with a total area of 216000 square meters, is the most characteristic landmark urban landscape in Binhai New Area.

Taifeng Park

Taifeng park is located in the economic and Technological Development Zone of Tianjin Binhai New Area on the coast of Bohai Sea. It is a large-scale artificial landscape park built on the former saline beach. It is the most characteristic landmark urban landscape of Binhai New Area at present.

The total area of the park is 216000 square meters, and there are more than 100 kinds of plants in the park,

Cedrus deodara, Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus bungeana, Juniperus chinensis, Robinia pseudoacacia, Ginkgo biloba, Gleditsia sinensis, Prunus humilis, Malus pumila and other plants are the main trees. The large area of lawn is dominated by cold season tall fescue and warm season buffaloes. The green area is 161200 square meters, the artificial lake area is 40256 square meters, and the square pavement, road and sculpture area is 17000 square meters.

The whole design terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with small Highlands in the north and seven artificial lakes with different sizes, shapes and depths from west to East in the south. There are three large valleys between the lake and highlands. Taking the west gate as the end point, twelve squares are evenly dotted along the edge line in a clockwise direction. Each square takes sculptures, fountains and other sketches as the center of the scenic spot, showing different themes. It can not only form its own landscape, but also skillfully integrate into one, fully reflecting the style of modern garden, showing the design idea of "sparse forest, grassland, gentle slope, still water" and the choice of plants Four seasons theme.

Construction background

Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, where the park is located, is an important part of Binhai New Area.
