Xingeng Villa
Xingeng villa is located in Chengguan of Changting County, facing the east from the West. It was originally the villa of Lu Zelin, President of Changting chamber of Commerce during the period of the Republic of China.
On March 14, 1929, the headquarters and Political Department of the Fourth Red Army were set up here. Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Chen Yi and others held an enlarged meeting of the front Committee of the Fourth Red Army, and determined the strategic policy of opening up the central revolutionary base. Civil structure of the two-story building, covering an area of 532 square meters. From the outside to the inside, there are gate, courtyard, gatehouse, patio, hall, back hall and patio. There are four symmetrical rooms on the left and right of the patio in front of the hall. There are two rooms on the left and right of the hall and the back hall. Mao Zedong and Zhu De live in the left and right rooms of the hall respectively, and there are three rooms on the back hall. In 1974, the Provincial Department of culture allocated funds for maintenance and restoration. In 1988, the State Council announced it as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
