Nanchang nanjinguan Grand Canyon Scenic Spot is located in Xialaoxi River Basin on the North Bank of Xiling Gorge, Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, where the world-famous "Three Gorges Project" is located. It covers xiaoxita, Letianxi and Huanghua villages and towns in Yiling District, with a total area of 108 square kilometers. Historical evolution

As early as 4100 years ago, during the period of "Three Emperors and five emperors", the father of Dayu locked the evil dragon at the bottom of the canyon when he was controlling the water. Later generations also called this canyon "Baima Grand Canyon" in memory of the father of Dayu.

Geological structure

Characteristic landscape

The Grand Canal is located at the 30 degree latitude northern latitude line and the boundary of the giant landform of the Chinese mainland. It belongs to the typical Karst landform landscape.
