Sujiaxia reservoir

Sujiaxia reservoir is located in the lower reaches of wangjiacun River, Sujiaxia village, Zhongshan Township, Qin'an County, Gansu Province. The reservoir is mainly for irrigation, combined with comprehensive utilization of flood control and fish culture.

Construction started in 1958, completed in 1962 and extended in 1972

The water supply horizontal pipe has been lengthened, the dam has been raised, and the side channel and spillway have been added. The catchment area is 67.5 square kilometers, with a total storage capacity of 8.2 million cubic meters. The dam crest is 7m wide, 140m long and 24m high.
