Pearl Lake Park

Mingzhu Lake Park is located in LvHua Town, west of Chongming Island, Shanghai. It is the largest natural inland lake on the island. It is also the main area of water recreation resort and ecological agriculture tourism area in the West planned by Chongming district. It covers an area of 6500 mu, water area of 3000 mu and water capacity of 5 million cubic meters. It is a national eco-tourism demonstration base and a national 3A tourist attraction. It is a new type of ecological concept tourism distribution center in metropolitan fringe area integrating tourism, rehabilitation, leisure club, cultural exhibition hall, ecological agriculture and participatory entertainment. It is a tourism resort with Chongming characteristics of water, green, customs and human feelings.

Mingzhu Lake Park has clear water, elegant environment and beautiful natural scenery. According to the detection, the atmospheric environment quality of Mingzhu lake is the first grade of the state, and the water quality is the second grade of the state. The soil is clean, pollution-free and pollution-free. The lake is 3500 meters long from north to south, 500-700 meters wide from east to west, and 7-8 meters deep, comparable to Hangzhou West Lake. Located on the west side of the lake, the ten thousand mu orange garden and the Pearl Lake are mutually complementary.

Mingzhu Lake Park is the largest natural freshwater lake in Chongming, Shanghai. It was originally a tributary of the South Branch of the Yangtze River. At the end of 2011, Mingzhu Lake Xisha wetland scenic spot was approved as a national 4A scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. In order to further enrich the functional projects of Mingzhu Lake Park, after nearly a year's preparation, the company plans to invest in the construction of amphibious vehicles, go karts, sliding ropes, rare birds flying and other entertainment projects in Mingzhu Lake Park in the near future. At the same time, the expansion of Fish Museum and the addition of leisure pavilions will make the park's tourism facilities continuously improve. Recently, the first flying base of rare birds in East China has settled down in Mingzhu lake. 100 geese and 680 red headed gulls have entered Mingzhu Lake Park one after another. They are starting to acclimatize and tame the introduced rare birds. They will be released before the opening ceremony of Chongming Forest Tourism Festival in Shanghai. At the same time, 1-2 entertainment projects will be launched before the national day, which will add color to the beautiful Mingzhu Lake Park.
