Yanxia peak is on the right side of Nantianmen behind Yuemiao temple. Under it, there are langcanyan, Langke, jingpingyan, lingxiaotan, gaomingtai and other historic sites. Lingxiao altar has 16 characters of "heaven and earth, famous mountains and rivers, up and down four dimensions, feeling Ming people". In gaomingtai, there are stone carvings of Li Mi's calligraphy "extremely brilliant" and Han Yu's poem "Ye Marquis has many books and thirty thousand axes".

Yanxia peak is on the right side of Nantianmen, 1120 meters above sea level. On a sunny day, the peak is shrouded in haze. "Hunan Tongzhi" said: "the haze, floating lovely." Among the several peaks in the South Tianmen line, this peak is more beautiful than others. For a moment, the clouds and smoke filled the sea, and all the peaks suddenly disappeared. Only the tip of the Yanxia peak floated in the sea, just like a green and lovely island in the sea. On the hillside are Daming, Hengyue, bamboo forest, several ancient temples and autumn flower Pavilion. There is langcanyan beside the Zhulin temple. It is said that the famous monk of Tang Dynasty, langcanyan, gave Li mi half a stewed potato here, and Li mi was able to be Prime Minister for ten years. "Langcanyan" is engraved on the forehead.
