Chaoliandao

ChaoLian island is located in the southeast of Laoshan mountain. There is a small island named taipingjiao on the south side of the northeast end and a small island named Xishantou on the southwest end. There is a tidal channel between the two islands and the main island, which is connected at low tide and separated at high tide.

Because the island is long and narrow, and there is a small island at both ends, which is similar to the money girdle, so it is also called girdle island. It is also called Cangzhou island because it looks like a huge boat in the sea. The island is 31.4km away from the nearest point of the mainland, and the highest point is 68.8m above sea level.
