Historical evolution

Initial construction

When it was first built in the mid-1980s, limited by financial and technical resources, the total area of the mosque, including the main hall minaret and water pond, was less than 300 square meters. The main hall was very simple in wood structure, which could only accommodate more than 100 people to worship at the same time. After more than 20 years of wind and rain erosion, it was full of sores, In particular, the main hall of the mosque is in disrepair for a long time, the main beam is out of shape, the ridge top is leaking, and the cracks in the wall are gradually increasing, which has formed a dangerous house. In recent years, With the establishment of the city, the number of residential areas around the mosque has increased, and the number of religious believers in the mosque has increased from 100 households to more than 2000 households at the beginning of the construction. The mosque has formed a situation of many people and small temples, and the area of the main hall can not meet the current situation. People's voice for the construction of the mosque is growing, so the reconstruction of the main hall is imminent.

Renovation and reconstruction

In March 2008, the temple management committee decided to rebuild the mosque by soliciting the opinions of the masses, and submitted it to the relevant ethnic and religious departments in the urban area for approval, and officially started construction on April 5, 2008. The mosque reconstruction project was undertaken by Qinghai Muslim Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., supervised by Qinghai Chengyuan Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd., and jointly designed by Gansu Lianzhong Design Institute and Northwest Company of China Design Institute.

Scale system

After reconstruction, the total construction area of the mosque is 6500 square meters, including 4500 square meters of the main hall and 2000 square meters of the teaching building. The main hall has three floors, with parking lots and shops on the first floor and more than 1600 square meters. Considering that in order to reduce the economic burden of the religious masses, external rental is the foundation for the temple to maintain the temple in the future. The second and third floors are the main hall of worship, which can accommodate more than 2000 people to worship at the same time. Two minarets are attached on both sides, 70 meters high, with a golden big Yuanbao dome in the middle. The overall pattern is a palace style building of China Arab integration, with 28 porch columns around. It is grand in scale and magnificent, and has attracted much attention. The teaching building is reasonably designed, wide and bright, with large and small clean ponds, duty room, study class, classroom, Manla dormitory, Temple Management Committee Office, teaching room and other multi-functional complex buildings. About 28 million yuan has been invested in the construction of the mosque.
